Renovations coming to Ackerman SFC and Ackerman Park

Renovations at Ackerman SFC and Ackerman Park are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 5th. These renovations are part of the 2022 voter-approved referendum, and the Glen Ellyn Park District is excited to create new and improved opportunities for the community.
The renovations will include a brand-new gymnastics center, a multi-purpose room, two new group fitness studios, outdoor pickleball courts, various interior aesthetics, and enhancements to create a more customer-friendly front desk and lobby area.
We understand that construction can be disruptive, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time. We will continue to provide updates on the progress throughout the renovations at gepark.org/projects.
The expected completion date for the project is summer 2024.
