NEW: Elite Performance TrainingMay 18, 2023 This program, for kids in grades 6–12, focuses on speed, agility, strength, mobility, and injury prevention. Whether it’s on the court, field, floor, diamond, mat, or ice, our coaches will be teaching youth athletes the skills that will help them to perform better at their sport and reduce the chance of injury. April Blood & Food DriveApril 15, 2023 Spring into giving at the blood and food drive on April 25, 2023, at Ackerman SFC from 9am–3pm. Walk-ins are welcome for the blood drive, but appointments are encouraged at https://bit.ly/3zbctId. Non-perishable food items and toiletries for donation to Glen Ellyn Food Pantry can be dropped off at the main entrance. |

Spring SportswapMarch 1, 2023 Glen Ellyn Park District is working with Go Green Glen Ellyn to make it easier for residents to recycle and reuse sporting equipment. Think about all the gently-used cleats, balls, bats, racquets, and skates in your garage that are no longer of use to your family. Bring those into Ackerman SFC from March 6-11 and receive a voucher. Then, swap for equipment that you or your children need on Sunday, March 12, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. You can also buy items without having things to swap. Learn more » |

Sports Trivia Night raises $7,000 for Park District Scholarship FundThis year’s 9th annual Glen Ellyn Sports Trivia Night, held on February 10, 2023, raised $7,000 for the Glen Ellyn Park District’s Scholarship Fund, a fee-assistance program for low-income residents who wish to enroll in Park District programs. One donation, which takes less than an hour, can save up to three lives. Appointments are requested but walk-ups are welcome. Vaccine & Flu Shot Clinic on November 19October 27, 2022 Glen Ellyn Park District, Jewel-Osco Pharmacy, and State Representative Terra Costa Howard are hosting a joint vaccine clinic on Saturday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at Ackerman SFC, 800 St. Charles Road. The brand new Covid-19 vaccine bivalent booster shots, flu shots, and pneumonia, tetanus, and shingles vaccines will be available. Walk-ups will be accepted but are subject to availability. Community Passes Glen Ellyn Park District ReferendumJune 29, 2022 The Glen Ellyn Park District referendum request for $15.9 million to repair, improve and expand facilities, upgrade four park properties throughout the district, and purchase additional land for parks has been approved, according to preliminary results as reported by DuPage County Clerk – Election Division. We are so grateful, and would like to thank every member of the Glen Ellyn Park District community for your continued support.
