Fall into giving! Take part in our blood drive in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Illinois on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 9 am to 1 pm at Ackerman SFC. One blood donation can help save up to three lives! Walk-ins are welcome, but it’s best to book your spot on the Versiti website.
Experience the beauty of early fall at the Lake Ellyn 1-Mile Classic, a scenic run around picturesque Lake Ellyn Park on Sunday, September 14, 2025, with waves starting at 8 am. Open to ages 12 months and up, this family-friendly event welcomes runners of all levels. Participants ages 6 and up will complete a one-mile loop, while the Kids Dash offers a shorter 0.25-mile race along Lenox Road for ages 12 months–5 years.
Registration includes a t-shirt, and awards will be presented for various age groups and categories. The fee is $20 per person (adults may accompany children in the Kids Dash without registering). Don’t miss this fun celebration of community and fitness! Register by September 8 »
